Orfeo is a suite of work inspired by the poet-god of Greek mythology and his descent into the Underworld. Drawing from references such as Monteverdi's opera and Jean Cocteau's film of the same name, this project embodied the journey "through the mirror" that the artist makes in the process of self-examination. The notion of the double resonates throughout the pieces, as a shadow of the encounters one has in the subterranean realm of the imagination.
